God can’t keep you from making the choices you’re making. God can’t intervene in those choices, because choice is an internal process. That’s why liberation is an inside job: it has to do with what the person chooses. No one can choose for them; even though anyone, if they’re smart enough, can say what are the consequences of this or that kind of choosing.
